The long established Italian leadership in enclosed worm gear design & innovation has reached a new benchmark in the H and X. Those familiar with worm gear reducers can immediately see some very exciting yet straight forward engineering advances:
- Paint Free - Unlike the old Motovario NMRV series which every Chinese cloner has copied, the 100% Italian H & X series has corrosion inhibiters die-cast into the housings.
- Modular - Many of the X & H Series components are completely interchangeable not only across the series, but with Tramec's K series and TLS SFK and BFK Global Interchange Series. This affords high volume production efficiencies & SPC quality, met with build to suit customer satisfaction; fast delivery + custom + competitive price... without Communist labor.
- Helical Primary - Unlike Motovario, Bonfiglioli, and other market leaders using the old designs of the 1980's, this series offers a 4/1 modular helical primary to create ratio combinations of 28 to 400/1 that are more compact and efficient than worm/worm reductions. Buiding from a basic unit, the Helical Worm Gear Reducer is built quick and efficient, for great pricing and fast delivery from stock parts.
- Coupling Style Input - The X and H series design both offer the "F" flange type coupling style input. A steel crowned tooth gear is mounted to the reducer and another to the motor, a precision machined nylon female gear couples the two gears. The arrangement is quite compact, rugged and reliable, and offers easy motor removal without damaging the reducer; even in corrosive environments. This is a unique feature for IEC/metric worm gear reducers that is found only on the H and X series from Tramec.
- Direct Replacement for most "Square type" or "NMRV" style metric worm gear reducers.
Compound Worm Reducer (double & triple reduction)
The H & X Series can be coupled in double or even triple reduction quickly and easily due to their modular gear-case design. A Helical Worm H series coupled to a Second X type worm gear can quickly create reduction ratios to 40000/1 in very compact space. Right from stock parts!
